The storm is expected to organize, resulting in a named storm, Julia, before the weekend, Terry said.
The system is not coming to Central Florida due to a high pressure blocking its move north, Terry said. Instead, the storm will keep moving west through Central America.
We officially have Depression #13 near Curacao, moving west. Organization is expected, and we'll have #Julia before the weekend. High pressure north of the storm will keep it from moving toward the Gulf - rather it will keep moving west toward cent. America. #EyeonTropics @WFTV pic.twitter.com/uVVETTw2ki
