Storm surge warnings were issued for St Petersburg, Florida, and surrounding areas on Wednesday, July 7, as Tropical Storm Elsa flooded parts of the region.
The National Weather Service warned of potentially “life-threatening” storm surge, with water flooding three to five feet above ground in some areas.
Twitter user @findave3 posted this footage on Wednesday morning and said it shows a neighborhood flooded by a storm surge in St Petersburg.
