Tropical Storm Ian: Weather Channel announces Jim Cantore's location

When there's a hurricane in the forecast, the last place you want to see Weather Channel meteorologist Jim Cantore is in your neighborhood.

Cantore has traditionally embedded himself in a location that is directly in the path of a major hurricane.

On Sunday Tropical Storm Ian was expected to become a hurricane and eventually gain "major hurricane" status when it heads into the Gulf of Mexico.

The Weather Channel revealed a graphic Sunday morning during its coverage of TS Ian that showed Cantore will be reporting from Clearwater Beach tonight.

Cantore will be one of three Weather Channel reporters at Clearwater Beach. Another reporter will be in the Keys.

Of course Cantore's location can change based on the track of the storm, so stay tuned!
