You might not have heard of "Take Your Kid's Doll to Work" Day, but Trent McCain has.

McCain's daughter, Joselyn, asked her dad to babysit Abbie the doll one workday earlier this month. And to prove Abbie was having fun, McCain, who is a Kansas-based trucker, decided to keep Joselyn updated via Facebook.

"We decided to have a little fun and post pictures of our travels," McCain wrote. "I didn't want Joselyn thinking I threw Abbie in the sleeper and forgot about her."

If the photos are any indication, Abbie had a fabulous day — and also learned some valuable career skills.

Abbie even got to spend time with Joselyn's grandfather, who is ... her great-grandfather? We are not sure how doll lineage works.

One small hiccup: Joselyn did not approve of the snack her father chose for Abbie. But hey, it's a vacation, right? Live a little.

"Abbie and Grandpa have had a good day, and glad we could bring a little entertainment to our friends," McCain wrote.
