Truist Field to host another round of college baseball events this season

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — The Charlotte Knights will host another round of college baseball events culminating with the prestigious ACC Baseball Championship in May.

Seventeen college baseball contests will take place at uptown Charlotte’s Truist Field kicking off with a border battle between the Tar Heels and the Gamecocks on April 9, a Tuesday night.

Some of the other scheduled highlights include the six-day 2024 ACC Baseball Championship. Six ACC teams finished in the Top 25 rankings last season. UNC Charlotte will take on ACC juggernaut Clemson in May on a Tuesday night under the lights.

Ownership of the minor league ballclub recently announced they are shopping the team. No new owners have been announced yet. The team is an affiliate of the Chicago White Sox.
