Former President Donald Trump compared Hunter Biden's "laptop from hell" to Al Capone on Wednesday, alleging President Joe Biden's son has "more criminal activity" than the late Chicago boss ever did.
Trump's comments about the president's son came during a press conference in which he announced a class-action lawsuit against Big Tech companies regarding censorship and content moderation.
"The laptop from hell, ... you look at that thing, there's more criminal activity on that laptop than Al Capone had if he had a laptop. ... He was a baby compared to what I was able to see," Trump said.
The laptop and hard drive allegedly belonging to Hunter Biden were given to a computer shop in Delaware for repair in April 2019. The FBI seized the laptop last year through a grand jury subpoena dated to December 2019. Rudy Giuliani, a former personal lawyer to Trump, also obtained a copy of the laptop's contents.

A forensic analysis conducted on the computer materials in April reportedly determined the data found on the device appeared to be authentic and belonged to Hunter Biden. Still, the president's son has said he has no memory of dropping the laptop off at a repair shop.
An article published by the New York Post in 2020 claimed, based on alleged evidence from the computer, that Joe Biden met with one of his son's Ukrainian associates from the energy exploration and consulting company Burisma. Hunter Biden served Burisma's board between 2014 and 2019.
The report raised speculation about whether Joe Biden ever used his privilege as the former vice president to create a conflict of interests between him and his son, though the now-president's campaign denied in 2020 that he even met with Hunter's associate.
In December last year, Hunter Biden revealed federal investigators were combing through his tax affairs. The president's son said in April he was "cooperating completely" with a federal investigation and said he is "100% certain" he will be cleared of wrongdoing.
Trump's claim on Wednesday suggested Hunter's laptop was filled with "more criminal activity" than Capone, who was sentenced to 11 years in prison for tax evasion and fined $80,000 in 1931.
