Former President Donald Trump will be the keynote speaker at the Oakland County Republican Party's Lincoln Day Dinner on Sunday, June 25, the party confirmed Monday.

A news release from the party said Trump will be presented with an award naming him its "Man of the Decade." Trump won Michigan on his way to becoming president in 2016 but lost to President Joe Biden in 2020.

Trump is running again for president in next year's election and has a commanding lead in most polls in the race for the Republican nomination.

The Lincoln Day Dinner will be held at Suburban Collection Showplace in Novi, with individual tickets costing $250 and tables of 10 ranging from $2,500 to $7,500.

Trump last visited Michigan last fall, speaking at a rally in Warren.
