Nation full of nonsensical leaders

We think signing a pledge to speak in a campaign is quite juvenile, like something done in junior high school.

Also, not holding murderers, rapists, looters, etc., accountable ― releasing them to run the streets of our country over and over again ― then think you’re going to put President Donald Trump away for life to die in prison on so many made-up and frivolous charges is insanity, especially when we have a corrupt bunch in the White House today that isn’t held accountable for anything.

Is the Soros money that good that you’d sell your soul for it?

Seems the insane are running our country.

Nation suffering from avoidance of Golden Rule

The United States is a great country with many kind and humane people. However, we currently seem like a Third World country.

I say that because of the failure of our moneyed class, Supreme Court, our religious institutions, leaders in government, political parties, corporate executives and regional differences of opinion.

Our clergy, ordained and secular, have used their pulpits to divide our citizenry. Activist groups, and they, and we know who they are, are part and parcel to the problems of our national woes. Anti-woke, critical race theory, banning books, prejudice, fear and hatred of those different from us are examples of this failure.

Where is the belief and practice in loving our neighbors as ourselves, and doing unto others as you would want others to do unto you?

Trump Derangement Syndrome remains alive, well

It’s apparent the media-driven Trump Derangement Syndrome is alive and well. The media is working overtime keeping Trump’s legal woes in the spotlight. Remember what a great job it did with the fake Russian collusion story?

The two-tiered system of justice has never been more apparent than in Joe Biden’s White House. It wants to destroy its biggest political opponent and at the same time take the focus off Hunter's sordid foreign business dealings and Joe’s alleged involvement in them.

The Department of Justice is fully weaponized and has gotten leftist prosecutors in Georgia and New York to do its bidding. It is also hoping to distract attention from the economy, high crime rates and his bad foreign policy and economic decisions. He recently said that he wished he hadn’t called his latest fiasco "The Inflation Reduction Act," because it was never intended to be that: It’s a green energy deal.

Donald Trump has been called everything from a racist to Adolf Hitler, but there are several things about which I’m quite certain: He would never have said “no comment” when asked by reporters about the devastation in Maui. He would never have boasted “name one thing I’ve failed at” knowing the ongoing pain felt by the 13 families who lost loved ones to the incompetence of the Afghanistan withdrawal. By the way, he called that mission a “success.”

But Biden will make cracks about knowing where the best ice cream is. And people laugh. And the press continues to shield him and be his cheerleaders. I don’t know what it will take for reporters to go back to reporting all of the news, not just what makes the Democrats look good.

Pay attention: Trump has disqualified himself from office

Here's a list of former President Donald Trump's accomplishments to date:

  • 91 criminal charges

  • 26 sexual assault allegations

  • 6 bankruptcies

  • 5 draft deferments

  • 4 indictments

  • 2 impeachments

  • 1 convicted company

  • 1 university shut down

  • 1 charity shut down

  • $25 million fraud settlement

  • $5 million sexual abuse settlement

  • $2 million charity abuse judgment

It's very difficult to understand why, as of this writing, this man is leading in the GOP polls for the next presidential election.

Of course, if one is only resorting to FOX, Newsmax, OANN or the ex-president himself for "news"'" sources, the ignorance is more comprehensible. What an incredibly frightening time for those of us who care about the continuance of our democratic republic.

Perhaps a reading of our Constitution would help to educate the masses who continue to follow this destructive force. Through his many alleged crimes and his inability to close his mouth, he has disqualified himself from any future federal office.

Being a Biden has its privileges

You often hear no one is above the law, but that apparently is not true if your name is Biden. The Bidens have privilege.

Joe Biden can win an election campaigning from his basement.

He lies and gaslights, but the media seem uninterested in reporting the truth.

Biden threatened to withhold money from Ukraine if the country didn't fire the prosecutor. Did they impeach Biden for this? No, but they did Donald Trump.

More than 50 intelligence officers lied, saying that Hunter’s laptop was Russian misinformation when it was real. Polls have shown 17% of Biden voters would have changed their vote if they had known. More Biden privilege.

We also now know the FBI colluded with social media to keep off negative information about Biden. What privilege.

How great to have foreign countries want to give Bidens money and we are supposed to believe they didn’t get anything in return?

Hunter was tipped off about a search warrant for his storage unit. The search never happened.

Mar-a-Lago was raided, but not in any of the four locations that Biden had documents. More privilege.

But the best Biden privilege is how Biden has weaponized federal agencies to come after his political opponents.

Trump is being indicted in Washington, D.C., Florida, New York and Georgia. As most of these charges happened years ago, why now?

My opinion is prosecutors are not as much interested in convicting him as they are to limit his ability to campaign and to ruin him financially. Maybe even keep his name off the ballot. They can’t allow the people to decide the president in in 2024 like they did in 2016. Democrats thought they had a plan to prevent Trump from winning, but it didn’t work. Can’t let that happen again.

Being a Biden certainly has its privileges.

Should we allow immigrants to butt in line?

Imagine you are in line at a restaurant. You are on the table list. A few others, too. Suddenly, 20 people arrive and are seated quickly without a reservation. You ask why they were seated ahead of you. You don’t get any logical answer.

You are in an emergency room. It is packed. You are waiting your turn. A few people go in ahead of you. You are patient; sit and wait. Suddenly a large group of people arrive. No one looks very sick or as if they have a serious injury. All of them go to triage. Voices get loud. They are ushered in to be treated. Everyone in the waiting room looks at each other.

One person asks the nurse in triage what just happened. Response: "They were going to force their way in any way, so ... "

You're at the deli counter in the local food store. You took your little piece of paper with No. 10. They are serving No. 3. You are patient. All of a sudden four people arrive and get served first.

Think about it.

Would anyone put up with this?

So why are Americans tolerating what is happening at the southern border?

Illegal immigrants are going ahead of immigrants who wait their turn while being vetted to enter legally. Illegal immigrants might be working illegally, thereby taking jobs from Americans and legal immigrants. Illegal immigrants benefit from everyone’s tax dollars. The government is spending the money you make or made while you worked. So the government is spending our money.

I might as well give my neighbor my savings and let them spend it any way they want.
