Liz Cheney has been taking a lot of heat for standing up for what she believes. Most of the heat is coming from the Donald Trump camp. I have heard on the news that she supported over 90% of the Trump agenda. Her disagreements were in the area of foreign affairs.

Let’s take a look at Trump’s foreign affairs history.

If anyone is a tool of the devil it is Vladimir Putin. Trump thought he could negotiate with the devil Putin. Trump puts more faith in his book, "The Art of the Deal," than he does in God’s Word.

Maybe he thinks he can end all wars with his negotiating skills.

Trump turned his back on our allies the Christians and Kurds in Northern Iraq and Syria. The result was the release of hundreds of ISIS fighters and the death of many of our allies. No way to treat our allies that helped overthrow Saddam Hussein during the Iraq war.

Afghanistan is another example of a Trump foreign affair failure. Trump set a withdrawal date and agreed to release thousands of Taliban fighters. This was another attempt to negotiate with evil.

The United States was not doing frontline fighting in Afghanistan. We were support giving the Afghan army intelligence and equipment so they could do the frontline fighting against the Taliban.

Trump agreed to release thousands of Taliban terrorists while in office and he released many.

Biden was blamed for a flawed withdrawal in Afghanistan and he should have been, but if anyone feels that a Trump withdrawal would have produced different results than we have on the ground in Afghanistan today, I feel they are misguided.

Trump fired Secretary of Defense Esper who later said that our withdrawal contributed to the situation we have in Afghanistan today as reported in the Washington Post.

We have many Republicans in the world today that put their full faith in a man who seems to think he can negotiate with evil. As a conservative Christian I can never support Trump for another term as president.

With his flawed history, Trump seems to have control of the Republican Party. In my mind his accomplishments at the border and reducing inflation do not make him the best candidate for president. We must keep in mind his foreign affair failures.

I do not agree with the raid on Mara Lago as it seems to be a political witch hunt to take pressure off the Biden failures and maybe Hunter Biden.

Trump’s actions on the Jan. 6 invasion of the Capitol left many unanswered questions as he seemed to want to take over our country by force. Liz Cheney helped lead this investigation and I feel she was justified in seeking answers.

Liz Cheney, a strong leader in our democracy, is being victimized by Trump as most Republicans supported her Trump supported candidate.

It is time for Republicans to wake up as Trump is not the god of my political party. If he runs again or continues to control the Republican Party, I will register as an independent.

Trump lied about Ted Cruz’s father having ties to Fidel Castro. This was an obvious lie as he lied abut other candidates, while religious leaders bowed to his lies.

I pray Ted Cruz will run again and I will support him and I would have no issue with Liz Cheney being his running mate. Remember, she supported Trump’s business decisions and opposed his mistakes on foreign affairs.

I feel confident Cruz and Cheney would make the same wise business decisions and make much wiser foreign affair decisions.

Do you put your faith in a liar or a Christian?
