Former President Trump slammed Hunter Biden’s new indictment on gun charges by prosecutors in Delaware in a Truth Social post Thursday.

“This, the gun charge, is the only crime that Hunter Biden committed that does not implicate Crooked Joe Biden,” Trump said in his post. “One down, Eleven to go!”

“The Democrats, with all of their horrible, very unfair, and mostly illegal Witch Hunts, have started a process that is very dangerous for our Country,” Trump continued. “They have opened the proverbial Pandora’s Box, and it is possible that the USA will never be the same again. SO SAD!!!”

The president’s son was charged Thursday with two counts for failing to disclose drug use when seeking to buy a weapon and unlawful possession of a firearm while addicted to a controlled substance, according to court filings. The most serious of the charges could land the younger Biden up to 10 years in prison and up to $250,000 in fines.

Entrepreneur Vivek Ramaswamy, also a GOP presidential candidate, shared his thoughts on the indictment as well, calling it a “smokescreen” in a post on X, the platform formerly known as Twitter.

“This is a fig leaf designed to deflect attention away from the real problem: the Biden family is selling out U.S. foreign policy for their own family’s private financial gain,” Ramaswamy wrote.
