Twitter Users Very Skeptical About Trump's Closed Door Meeting With Jack Dorsey
President Donald Trump seemed to think Tuesday’s meeting with Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey might improve “the health of the public conversation on Twitter,” based on a tweet he posted after the summit.
Great meeting this afternoon at the @WhiteHouse with @Jack from @Twitter. Lots of subjects discussed regarding their platform, and the world of social media in general. Look forward to keeping an open dialogue! pic.twitter.com/QnZi579eFb

Dorsey also put a positive spin on the meeting, saying that it was “constructive.”

But other Twitter users were skeptical the meeting would do anything positive. Very, very skeptical.
Oh that is rich. I really hope it's in the vein of Jack pinpointing the damage Trump is doing to the health of the public conversation on Twitter.

So by @jack’s own standards, that meeting should be publically documented for transparency? pic.twitter.com/wY4ASPOPzS

I hope Jack kept you informed about the fact that @realDonaldTrump has 59 million followers and @BarackObama has 106 million. Have a happy night Skippy.

I hope you asked him questions, then cut him off and muted him when he tried to answer.
Then when he tried to answer a second time, I hope you put him in time out.
Then when he tried to answer a third time, I hope you said he was suspended and had him escorted out.— ⚔️ Marine 🇺🇸 ONE ⚔️ (@TheReady1775) April 23, 2019
