Former President Trump made between $3 million to $4 million during last year's speaking tour with former Fox News host Bill O'Reilly, The Washington Post reported.

The Post, speaking to multiple sources close to the discussions, detailed the Trump family's push to use their name to garner wealth, similar to how the former president made money before entering office.

One person familiar with the deal told the Post that Trump made millions off the four-event "History Tour."

The tour, which Trump promoted with his political action committee, originally charged the general public at least $100 per ticket.

Trump's return to rallies and speaking tours has sparked hope for his supporters that he will run for the White House in 2024, with the former president teasing the idea on at least one of the tour's stops.

"I said loud and clear," he said at an event in Orlando. "We won the first time, and the second time we won by even more. And it looks like we might have to think about very strongly a third time."

The Orlando Sentinel reported at the time the tickets for the event dropped from $100 to $40 after the event did not sell out.

The loyalty of Trump's supporters has given him the ability to sell books that mostly contain public pictures for $75, a person familiar with the book deal told the Post.

"He always wants to be making money and sees everything as a branding exercise," one senior Trump adviser told the outlet.

Trump still dominates polls for who Republicans want to see as their presidential nominee in 2024, beating most other opponents by double-digits.

The Hill has reached out to Trump's spokesperson for comment.
