Former President Donald Trump is in Michigan while Republican presidential candidates are in California for the second GOP primary debate.

Trump, the front-runner for the Republican nomination in 2024, is scheduled to speak at Drake Enterprises, a non-union facility in Clinton Township, Michigan. The event comes a day after President Joe Biden walked the picket line with UAW workers, with over 18,000 who are on strike at plants for Chrysler, Ford and General Motors.

Trump has not addressed the strike whereas Biden has said workers deserve a fair contract.

How to watch Trump speech live stream from Michigan

According to the Detroit Free Press, Trump's rally will include about 500 former or current union members at Drake Enterprises.

Trump promoted a link to the live stream of the event on the platform Rumble by Right Side Broadcasting Network.

What channel is the Republican debate on?

Taking place at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Foundation and Institute in Simi Valley, seven candidates will take the stage. Those candidates include:

  • Doug Burgum

  • Chris Christie

  • Ron DeSantis

  • Nikki Haley

  • Mike Pence

  • Vivek Ramaswamy

  • Tim Scott

The debate begins at 8 p.m. CT and will be broadcast on Fox News and Fox News Business.
