President Trump took Marine One to Walter Reed hospital on Friday, hours after testing positive for COVID-19. The White House said in a statement that he was being admitted as a “precautionary measure.” In a video posted on Trump’s Twitter account, the president said, “I think I’m doing very well, but we’re going to make sure that things work out.”
DONALD TRUMP: I want to thank everybody for the tremendous support. I'm going to Walter Reed Hospital. I think I'm doing very well, but we're going to make sure that things work out. The First Lady is doing very well.
So thank you very much, I appreciate it. I will never forget it. Thank you.
- Mr. President, how are you, sir? Can you tell us about how you're doing right now?
How long do you expect [INAUDIBLE]?
