Former President Donald Trump watched Penn State wrestlers go for gold Saturday night in the NCAA Wrestling Championships.

Trump was at the BOK Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma, where Penn State wrestling clinched the NCAA wrestling title earlier in the day Saturday and saw five others vying for gold in the final session of competition. He moved through the crowd and shook hands with some in the arena, the same day he declared in a social media post that he expects to be arrested Tuesday and called for his supporters to protest.

Earlier on Saturday, his vice president, Mike Pence, appeared on the jumbotron at Wells Fargo Arena in Des Moines, Iowa, where Penn State basketball was set to tip off against Texas at 7:45 p.m. in the second round of the NCAA Tournament. Pence, a graduate of Hanover College, addressed Trump’s possible arrest Saturday at a foreign policy forum in Des Moines.

“Here we go again. Another politically charged prosecution against the former president of the United States,” Pence told reporters, according to the Des Moines Register.

Trump said he expects to be arrested in connection with the years long investigation into a hush money scheme involving adult film actress Stormy Daniels.
