President Trump boasted of “great reports” from doctors and went for a short drive to wave at supporters on Sunday.
He put an upbeat spin on his recent hospitalization for COVID-19, though he didn’t go into details about his medical condition.
“It’s been a very interesting journey. I learned a lot about COVID. I learned it by really going to school,” the president said.
“This is the real school. This isn’t the ‘let’s-read-the-books’ school,” he rambled. “And I get it and I understand it and it’s a very interesting thing and I’m going to be letting you know about it.”
He then went on a cruise outside Walter Reed National Military Medical Center and waved from an SUV to several dozen supporters.
