Trump's doctor dismisses health rumors

Donald Trump's doctor has dismissed rumors on the president's health, after he made an unexpected visit to Walter Reed Medical Center over the weekend.

In a memo released by the White House, Navy Commander Sean Conley said quote:

"Despite some of the speculation, the president has not had any chest pain, nor was he evaluated or treated for any urgent or acute issues."

Trump's visit on Saturday (November 16) prompted speculations about the health of the 73-year-old, who has been known to avoid exercise as well as ignore advice to lose weight.

Conley said that the trip was kept off the record due to scheduling uncertainties, while the White House's partial release of the exam results - which was not mandatory under law - came after Trump and his aides debated how to address the rumors.

Trump also took his results to Twitter on Sunday (November 17) saying that he would complete the check next year.
