'I trust Culver's': Giannis says he plans to celebrate another 50-point performance with Wisconsin's favorite restaurant

Giannis Antetokounmpo was in a playful mood after he scored 54 points and the Bucks held off the Los Angeles Clippers late Thursday, 106-105, and it seems he has the perfect celebration plan in mind.
Antetokounmpo, who now has three 50-point scoring performances to his name this season (and two in his last three games), said he expected to hit up Culver's, the staple of Wisconsin dining, and spring for 50 cheeseburgers in honor of his 50-burger.

"Last time, I went to Chick-fil-A and got the nuggets, but now tomorrow I think I'll go to Culver's, go get 50 cheeseburgers and I'll try to eat as many as I can, and the rest, I'll have my son eat them or give them to my dog," Giannis said after the win.
He is, of course, referencing his legendary drive-through experience, when he livestreamed a trip to Chick-fil-A and ordered 50 chicken minis one day after scoring 50 points in Game 6 of the NBA Finals and clinching the franchise's first championship in 50 years.
Part of that experience was Giannis (jokingly, we think?) requesting that Chick-fil-A hook him up with free food for life.

"Chick-fil-A did not give me no free meals," Giannis said Thursday. "I know Culver's will give me free meals, I trust Culver's."
One local Culver's in Shorewood even said as much after the 2021 championship.
“It’s not just a joke offer,” co-owner George Dimitropoulos said at the time. “He can come by as much as he wants. We’re not that far from the Fiserv, and we’re on his way home as well,” he added.
On Friday morning, not only did the official Culver's account on Twitter indicate the restaurants were ready to hand out some free chow to Milwaukee's star, but they were also donating 54,000 diapers to the Milwaukee Diaper Mission, a cause near and dear to Antetokounmpo and his partner, Mariah Riddlesprigger.
Congrats on the W + 54 points, @giannis_an34! Come see us for your 54 cheeseburgers! To celebrate, we'd also like to make a donation of 54,000 diapers to @MKEdiaper. We appreciate all that you and @mariahdanae15 do for the city of Milwaukee! pic.twitter.com/rpB5dxWk4q

Culver's, of course, began in Sauk City and spread throughout Wisconsin and the Midwest before opening franchises all over the country.
