It’s officially been a year since the global COVID-19 pandemic began, and out of all of the changes we've had to make to our daily routines, there's one in particular that I'll likely make permanent. I’m onboard to adopt virtual and in-app workout classes on a long-term basis. I love having access to hundreds (if not thousands!) of workouts that I can easily do anywhere, anytime, without ever having to step into a sweaty gym. If you're looking to continue your at-home workouts for the foreseeable future, too, you're in luck—you can currently get 30% off your first month of Obé Fitness.

To get the deal, simply click this link to activate coupon code OBE30 and have the discount automatically applied when you sign up for the site's monthly plan, dropping your first month's cost down from its normal $27 per month to $18.90 (note that you'll pay the normal cost of $27 per month after your first 30 days). You'll also be gifted a free seven days before you're charged for your subscription.

That's especially good news for Disney fans, as the site has launched a weekend-long class (through March 7) in collaboration with the house of mouse to celebrate its new movie, Raya and the Last Dragon. It's no coincidence that this is taking place during Women’s History Month, either: Obé promises that these workout sessions "will inspire you to channel your inner warrior.”

Although we haven't reviewed the new classes that Disney and obé Fitness just launched together, we have tested the Obé Fitness app, which proved to be a solid choice according to our health and fitness editor, Sara Hendricks. Along with an appreciation for the easy-to-use structure and cheery color palette, Hendricks said they brought the burn, adding “Most importantly, [it] made me feel more excited about exercising at home than not—which is exactly what a workout app is supposed to do.”

Who's ready to feel the burn?

Obé offers 22 live classes per day and more than 5,000 on-demand classes to its members. So in addition to the new movie-themed classes, you'll gain access to all of the pilates, yoga, barre, cardio dance, boxing, HIIT and strength-training classes you can handle at this discounted price.

Sara loved the live classes in particular, noting that it helped to take the decision-making out of the process. Plus, Obé often schedules classes that complement each other well back-to-back (think a lower-body strength class followed by an upper-body strength class). So if you’re someone who’d rather not spend time scrolling (and scrolling. and scrolling.) through workouts in search of one that’s just right, you can just powerup Obé and access the day’s workout schedule without having to think twice.

At $27 per month, Obé is a bit pricier than other fitness apps we’ve reviewed, such as Nike Training Club, Peloton and Aaptiv, and some of the classes require additional equipment. But if you've got the basics for workouts like yoga and strength training, Obé is worth the price tag—especially with the first month’s discount and a free week to sample all the classes.
