With the New York Giants on a three-game winning streak, much of the football world has been captivated by unlikely starting quarterback and local folk hero Tommy DeVito.

Now, fans can have a piece of DeVito — or more accurately, a slice — by ordering his namesake pizza at an Italian restaurant in his hometown.

Lombardi's Bar & Restaurant in Cedar Grove is offering the "Tommy DeVito pizza," a pie topped with vodka sauce and cut-up chicken cutlets. The latter ingredient is a fitting tribute to DeVito, who has earned the nickname "Tommy Cutlets" for his Italian heritage and self-professed love for his mother's cooking.

The eatery first posted about the specialty pizza on its Instagram page Nov. 20, the day after DeVito and the Giants snapped a three-game losing streak with a 31-19 win over the Washington Commanders. The pizza officially became a menu item the following week, introduced in style via a post showing the new pie accompanied by a Giants helmet and a roaring fire in the background.

New York has not lost since that Washington victory, defeating the New England Patriots and Green Bay Packers on either side of its bye week. The Packers victory on Monday Night Football further elevated DeVito's profile, both in his play on the field and his family's massive tailgate spread — naturally, featuring chicken cutlets — prior to the game.

Lombardi's continued its celebration of Cedar Grove's native son Monday by offering free DeVito pizzas at halftime of the game. During the Patriots game on Nov. 26, the restaurant advertised free "DeVito burgers" topped with mozzarella and vodka sauce for every touchdown pass from the quarterback, who threw only one in a low-scoring 10-7 victory.

The Lombardi's promotion is the latest in what has been a whirlwind rookie season for DeVito, the former Don Bosco standout who played college football at Syracuse before transferring to Illinois. He signed as an undrafted free agent with the Giants and was named the starter after injuries to quarterbacks Daniel Jones and Tyrod Taylor.

Along the way, DeVito has held an autograph signing at a PrimoHoagies shop, received an Instagram message from comedian and fellow Italian-American Sebastian Maniscalco, and even handed out "Tommy Cutlets" beers sent to the Giants locker room by a Jersey City brewing company.
