Trying to avoid traffic and confusion? Here's the Bucks County closures you need to know

Another week of road closures hits Bucks County and can interfere with your travel in the coming days.

Local projects and PennDOT projects both lead the way in closure in the region.

What other storm repairs are happening in the county?

Middletown Township closed Silver Lake Road between the Banks Road intersection to the Stone Bridge Court intersection because of damage from recent storms.

  • The township said that the road will close until repairs can be made and has no date for this yet. There are detours posted at the location.

Is Milford Township repairing any roads?

Next Wednesday, Milford Township will begin repairing Foulkes Mill Road. This is a local project they are conducting without help from PennDOT.

  • For about 60 days, Foulkes Mill Road will be closed between the Allentown Road intersection and the Hillcrest Road intersection.

What parts of I-95 will be closed this week?

PennDOT is continuing construction activities on I-95 in Bucks County as a part of a project to improve state highways in southeastern PA.

  • From 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on July 19, the left lane will be closed northbound on I-95 between Route 63 and Route 132 interchanges in Bensalem Township. This is due to a bridge inspection.

Will PECO continue utility construction this week?

PECO and PennDOT are continuing utility repairs on state highways in Bucks County.

  • Route 179 will be closed at the Kiltie Drive intersection in New Hope due to flagging through to Sept. 14.

What construction will take place in Bristol Township?

PennDOT scheduled pipe flushing operations in Bristol Township for Green Lane.

  • On July 20, from 7 p.m. to 3 a.m., Green Lane will close from the Bristol Pike intersection to the Wilson Avenue Intersection.

  • Traffic will be redirected to Radcliffe Street, Market Street, Old Route 13, Mill Street, Bath Street and Bristol Pike.
