TSA brings busiest day at the airport since start of pandemic
The Sunday after Thanksgiving is known as the busiest travel day of the year and according to TSA numbers, that fact stays true.
According to TSA data, over 2.56 million travelers went through TSA checkpoints on Sunday.
This years numbers exceeded the 2021 checkpoint volume of 2,458,325.

This number also marked the highest checkpoint volume since the start of the pandemic.
The previous record high was July 1, 2022, when 2,490,490 people were screened nationwide.
