TSA tries to confiscate Chewbacca’s light saber-shaped cane

The TSA should know that the Force is always with Chewbacca.

Last week, the Transportation Security Administration tried to confiscate the light saber shaped cane that Peter Mayhew, 69, the actor who played Chewbacca in the “Star Wars” franchise, uses to walk, NBC DFW reports.

The 7-foot-2 Texas resident was returning home from Denver Comic Con when he claimed that TSA agents at Denver International Airport detained him and tried to take away his cane.

It was allegedly not until Mayhew posted photos of the incident on Twitter that they released him and let him get on his plane to Dallas, light saber and all.
