TSSAA Spring Fling top performers: Statewide standouts from Day 2
Here is a look at the top high school performers from the second day of the TSSAA spring sports state tournaments.
WEDNESDAY
Baseball
Carson Plunk, Adamsville: Went 3-for-3, including two home runs, and had four RBIs in an 11-7 loss to Loudon.
Cason Sharp, Bradford: Threw a complete game, four-hitter with four strikeouts in a 9-6 victory against Lookout Valley.
Braden Gover, Covington: Threw a complete game, scattering six hits and striking out six in a 9-2 win over Tullahoma.
Holden Warmath, Covington: Went 3-for-4 with three RBIs.
Brayden Baker, Eagleville: Got the win, allowing three hits in five innings pitched, and went 2-for-3 with two RBIs in a 13-0 victory over Coalfield.
Brennon Seigler, Farragut: Went 3-for-4 with three RBIs in a 7-6 win over Collierville.
Tanner Lane, Goodpasture: Threw a complete game, three-hitter with six strikeouts in a 9-3 win against Franklin Grace.
Logan Harrell, Goodpasture: Homered twice and had four RBIs.
Carson Rucker, Goodpasture: Went 2-for-3, including a homer, and had three RBIs.
Kyle Adams, Gordonsville: Got the win, striking out seven in six innings pitched of a 5-2 victory over University – JC.
Robbi Martin, Houston: Homered and had three RBIs in a 10-7 victory over Stewarts Creek.
Ryan Mitchell, Houston: Had three RBIs.

Willie Walton, Lipscomb Academy: Threw a complete game, four-hitter and struck out seven in a 3-2 win over Baylor.
Caden Porter, Loretto: Went 3-for-5 with six RBIs and two runs scored in a 15-5 victory over Loudon.
Jayden Capshaw, Loudon: Went 3-for-3, including a homer, and had three RBIs and two runs scored in an 11-7 victory against Adamsville.
Matthew Meade, Loudon: Went 2-for-4, including a homer, and had two RBIs and three runs scored.
Olin Johnson, McCallie: Threw a complete game, two-hitter with 10 strikeouts in an 8-2 win over Knoxville Catholic.
Carter Hewitt, McCallie: Went 2-for-4, including a homer, with three RBIs and two runs scored.
Spencer Haley, Northpoint: Went 2-for-5 with three RBIs in an 8-7 victory over Silverdale. Went 3-for-4 with four RBIs vs. Franklin Grace.
James Smith, Northpoint: Went 3-for-3 with two runs scored.
J.B. Williams, Northpoint: Threw a complete game, striking out 10 in a 12-5 win against Franklin Grace.
Chase McKnatt, Northpoint: Homered, had four RBIs and scored three runs.
Dylan Loy, Pigeon Forge: Got the win, striking out 10 in 4.2 innings, and went 3-for-5 with three RBIs in an 8-5 victory over Forrest.
Charles Smith, Powell: Threw a complete game, three-hitter and struck out five in a 10-3 win against Centennial.
Jaxon Truman, Powell: Went 2-for-3 with three RBIs.
Bryson Robbins, South Gibson: Tripled, had three RBIs and scored two runs in a 9-8 win against Sullivan East.
Robert Matano, Stewarts Creek: Went 3-for-4 with three RBIs in a 10-7 loss to Houston.
Tyson Mitchell, Sullivan East: Scattered five hits and struck out seven in six innings pitched of a 10-0 win against Munford.
Corbin Dickenson, Sullivan East: Went 3-for-4 with three runs scored.
Brayden Blevins, Tennessee: Threw a complete game, scattering six hits and striking out four in a 6-4 victory over Montgomery Central.
Rylan Henard, Tennessee: Threw a complete game, scattering six hits in a 4-3 win against Tullahoma.
William Penland, Upperman: Went 2-for-3, including a double, and had three RBIs in a 6-5 win against South Gibson.
Kaden Seay, Watertown: Went 2-for-3 with two RBIs in a 10-3 win against Loretto.
Anthony King, White House Heritage: Went 2-for-4 with three RBIs in a 9-3 victory over Riverside.

Holly Merritt, Baylor: Had four RBIs and scored two runs.
Averi Slaughter, Columbia Academy: Threw a two-hitter and struck out 11 in a 15-0 victory over Jackson Christian.
Myleah Hardy, Columbia Academy: Went 3-for-4, including two homers, had five RBIs and three runs scored.
