Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa is expected to fly home with the team after leaving the field on a stretcher in the team's 27-15 loss to the Bengals Thursday night.
Tagovailoa was taken off the field on a stretcher after being sacked by Bengals defensive tackle Josh Tupou in the second quarter.
Tagovailoa was transported to University of Cincinnati Medical Center, a Level 1 Trauma Center, with reported head and neck injuries. The Dolphins reported he was conscious and had movement in all his extremities.
Following the game, the Dolphins reported he was expected to be discharged and fly back with his teammates.

The hit occurred with 5:43 remaining in the second quarter and the Bengals leading 7-6.
Tagovailoa got wrapped up around the waist by Tupou, who swung Tagovailoa to the ground.
Tagovailoa’s head collided with the ground and the third-year quarterback’s hands seemed to lock in a fixed position in front of his face while the rest of his body remained motionless.
The training staff quickly rushed onto the field.
Miami’s offense and Cincinnati’s defense took a knee, recognizing the seriousness of the situation.
