Tucson bicyclist killed in crash with ambulance

A bicyclist was killed in a crash with an ambulance Wednesday morning.

The crash between an unidentified male bicyclist and a San Carlos EMS ambulance happened near North Craycroft Road and East Cooper Street, according to police.

Craycroft was expected to be shut down between Glenn and Copper streets for several hours, police said, advising drivers to seek an alternative route.

Police said more information on the incident would be released Thursday.
