Tuesday accident sends Lindsay woman to Duncan Regional

Dec. 28—A Yukon departed the roadway on Tuesday morning, resulting in one woman being transported to the hospital in serious condition, according to Oklahoma Highway Patrol (OHP).

According to OHP, the wreck happened around 10:48 a.m. on State Highway 29 near Morrison Road around three miles east of Bray in Stephens County.

Reports show the incident involved a 2004 GMC Yukon, driven by Lori Trammell (SIC), 47, of Lindsay, Oklahoma in Garvin County.

According to reports, the Yukon was traveling westbound on State Highway 29 when it departed the road northbound before overcorrecting and departing the road southbound.

Reports state the vehicle "struck an embankment and started rolling an undetermined number of times," before striking a fence.

Survival Flight ground transported the driver to Duncan Regional Hospital where she was admitted in serious condition with head and trunk injuries.

The cause of the collision remains under investigation.

OHP received assistance from Survival Flight Ground and Bray Fire Department.
