Tuesday is the deadline to register for this year's general election

If you are looking to vote in the local elections this November in Georgia, Tuesday is the last day to register to vote.

The Oct. 10 deadline applies for voter registrations and changes of address for the general and special election. Monday, Oct. 16 marks the first day a registrar can mail an absentee ballot and the beginning of advanced voting. Election day is Nov. 7.
