Tuesday's area high school athletic schedule wiped out by weather
Watertown High School's boys and girls basketball games against Mitchell and Aberdeen Central's wrestling dual at Pierre were among the area athletic events wiped out Tuesday by a winter storm.
The Arrow basketball games have been rescheduled for Thursday, Dec. 22. The boys will host Mitchell and the girls visit Mitchell.
Aberdeen Central's wrestling dual at Pierre has been rescheduled for Feb. 9 (2023).
Other northern South Dakota boys basketball games postponed include Aberdeen Roncalli at Mobridge-Pollock, Sanborn Central-Woonsocket at Hitchcock-Tulare, Ipswich at North Central, Richland (N.D.) at Sisseton, Waubay-Summit at Webster Area (Jan. 3), Clark-Willow Lake at De Smet, Langford Area at Estelline-Hendricks, Deubrook at Deuel, Elkton-Lake Benton at Castlewood, Potter County at Miller, Northwestern at Wilmot, Flandreau at Hamlin, Aberdeen Christian at Warner, Leola-Frederick Area at Oakes (N.D.), Faulkton Area at Sunshine Bible Academy, Herreid-Selby Area at Timber Lake, Hankinson (N.D.) at Tri-State, Benson at Ortonville (Minn.) and Renville County West at Dawson-Boyd, Minn. (Jan. 16).
Other postponed girls basketball games include Aberdeen Roncalli at Mobridge-Pollock, Sanborn Central-Woonsocket at Hitchcock-Tulare, Ipswich at North Central, Langford Area at Estelline-Hendricks, Elkton-Lake Benton at Castlewood, Potter County at Miller, Northwestern at Wilmot, Deubrook at Deuel, Waverly-South Shore at Clark-Willow Lake, Elkton-Lake Benton at Castlewood, Aberdeen Christian at Warner, Faulkton Area at Sunshine Bible Academy, Herreid-Selby Area at Timber Lake, Lisbon (N.D.) at Tri-State, Ellendale at LaMoure-Litchville/Marion (N.D.), Oakes at Barnes County North, N.D. (Dec. 20), Canby at Lakeview, Minn. (Dec. 20), Lac qui Parle Valley at MACCRAY, Minn. (Jan. 7) and Benson at Ortonville (Minn.).
Also postponed was a high school wrestling quadrangular at Clark. It has been rescheduled for Feb. 2, featuring Clark-Willow Lake, Sioux Valley, McCook Central-Montrose and Flandreau.
