BASEBALL

Kimberly 4, Hortonville 3

KIMBERLY - Sawyer Deering went 2-for-3 for the Papermakers with a home run and three RBIs. Max Kalk added an RBI double for Kimberly in the win.

Joey Fischer had a 2-for-4. day with a home run and two RBIs for Hortonville and Ethan Peters went 2-for-3.

Brayden Deering earned the win for the Papermakers after five innings, with seven strikeouts.

Sawyer Deering secured the save with two strikesouts to end the game.

Nate Vela took the loss for the Polar Bears.

Chilton 9, Roncalli 2

MANITOWOC - The Tigers scored three runs in the first inning and never trailed in the victory over the Jets.

Kenyon Davidson had two hits and two RBIs for Chilton. Hudson Ludwig also had two hits and scored two runs.

Max Mueller pitched six innings for the win. He allowed four hits, two unearned runs and struck out seven. Ryan Pierquet pitched the final inning and struck out one.

Wrightstown 7, Fox Valley Lutheran 1

WRIGHTSTOWN - Trevor Vande Hey allowed just one hit and two walks with 10 strikeouts in six innings to help lead the Tigers past the Foxes in North Eastern Conference action.

Landon Helphrey was 2-for-3 with five RBIs.

Corey Riesop led FVL with two hits, including a double.

Seymour 11, West De Pere 5

SEYMOUR - After trailing by two runs early, Seymour scored three runs in the second, four in the third and four in the fifth to earn the Bay Conference win.

The Phantoms scored twice in the first and three in the sixth.

Ty Schaumberg picked up the win, while Carter Schmidt took the loss.

Leading the Thunder was Xavier Salzman, who was 2-for-4 with two RBIs.

Duke Shovald was 2-for-2 with two RBIs, and Jackson Meisner doubled for West De Pere.

St. Mary Catholic 12, Hilbert/Stockbridge 4

FOX CROSSING - The Zephyrs scored in every inning, led by a couple of big hits from Fisher MacKenzie.

MacKenzie doubled and homered, walked, stole two bases, scored three times and drove in two in three at-bats.

Owen Ripley also went 2-for-3 for SMC, scored three times and had two RBIs, while walking twice. Aidan Birling was 2-for-4 with a walk and a pair of runs scored.

The Zephyrs stole 14 bases as a team, led by Ripley and Birling with three each.

Zander Kopp and Sam Bradley recorded the only hits for the Wolves.

Ripley earned the win for SMC, giving up only one hit, three walks and two runs (none earned) while striking out six over four innings.

SOFTBALL

Kaukauna 3, Neenah 1

KAUKAUNA - The Ghosts remained undefeated this season at 7-0 with the victory over the Rockets.

Karly Meredith pitched a complete game and had 11 strikeouts for the Ghosts.

Fond du Lac 6, Appleton North 5

APPLETON - Autumn Freismuth scored the go-ahead run for Fondy in the top of the eightth on a MacKenna Schultis bunt single.

Cassie Auchue went 3-for-3 for the Cardinals with a stolen base. Schultis was 2-for-4 with a run scored and three stolen bases, Reghan Ziegler had a pair of hits, including a double, in four at-bats, and Jenna Guelig had one hit in three at-bats with a walk and two RBIs.

Susan Vokes secured the save for Fondy, pitching the final 5⅓ innings. She gave up a walk and a run and struck out eight.

Oshkosh West 6, Kimberly 0

OSHKOSH - Brianna Bougie pitched a five-hit shutout to lead the Wildcats over the Papermakers.

Bougie walked one batter and struck out six.

Bougie and Kadence Saladin each drove in two runs. Both hit doubles.

Bougie, Chloe Tritt and Colleen Fitzpatrick each had two hits for Oshkosh West.

St. Mary Catholic 7, Hilbert/Stockbridge 1

NEENAH - The Zephyrs scored in every inning but the fourth in the win over Hilbert/Stockbridge to improve to 5-1 in the Big East and 6-5 overall.

In the first inning for SMC, Adel Schneider worked a leadoff walk and was sacrificed to third. After Chloe Vogel walked, Schneider stole home to plate the game’s first run on a double steal with Vogel getting thrown out trying to swipe second.

In the second, Emily Vogel walked and Rhiannon Reichenbacher was hit by a pitch to start the inning. Both moved up a base on a sacrifice, then Vogel scored on a groundout by Adela Thiel and Reichenbacher scored on a wild pitch.

The Zephyrs stole two runs, literally, in the third inning to go up 5-0. Chloe Vogel and Addison Moder both swiped home on double steals.

In the fifth, Sammi Weiss drove in a run with a single.

Hilbert struck in the sixth when Kaylie Hernke led off with a double and stole third base. She later scored on a groundout by Savannah Buhler.

SMC got the run back right away in the next half inning when Chloe Vogel reached on an error and a Nevaeh Saringer single moved her to third, where she scored on a sacrifice fly by Emily Vogel.

Schneider finished 1-for-3 with a double for the Zephyrs. Chloe Vogel and Reichenbacher each went 1-for-2 with a pair of runs scored. SMC stole six bases in total, with three steals of home, and drew nine walks as a team.

Hernke led the Hilbert offense with a 2-for-2 day at the plate.

Saringer earned the win in the circle for SMC after pitching all seven innings, giving up three hits, a walk and a run while striking out four.

Alandra Grenzer took the loss after giving up five hits, nine walks and seven runs (six earned) with one strikeout.

North Fond du Lac 8, Brillion 7

BRILLION - The Orioles outhit the Lions 10-5 in the nonconference win.

Leading hitters for North Fond du Lac were Lucy Hughes, who was 3-for-4 with two RBIs; Allison Now, who was 2-for-4 with two doubles; and Lucy Schumacher, who was 2-for-3 with a double and four RBIs.

Amaya Brooks was 2-for-3 with two RBIs to lead Brillon.

Hughes struck out six to get the win for the Orioles.

GIRLS SOCCER

Kimberly 1, Neenah 0

NEENAH - The lone goal was scored late in the second half by Jenna Scholz off an assist from Senah Hanes as the Papermakers edged the Rockets.

Kimberly is now 9-0 overall.

Appleton North 1, Kaukauna 1

KAUKAUNA - Brinley Dunsirn had a goal and Madison Hacker had an assist for the Lightning in the tie against the Ghosts.

Fond du Lac 8, Hortonville 0

HORTONVILLE - Greta Plamann scored four goals for the Cardinals in the victory.

Brooklyn Wood added two goals and an assist, Francesca Parker had one goal and three assists, and Aurora Santana also scored.

Fondy goalie Leah Blankenheim was in the net for the shutout.

Oshkosh West 3, Appleton West 0

APPLETON - Maddi Choinski scored two goals for the Wildcats in the Fox Valley Association win.

Eleisha Schimmel also scored on a corner kick from a kick by Morgan Toman.

Oshkosh West goalie Hannah Wolf recorded eight saves.

Plymouth 4, Xavier 0

PLYMOUTH - Hailey Batzner had two goals and an assist for Plymouth in the nonconference win.

Emma Adema and Sarah Welsch also for scored for Plymouth. Cassie Pilling had an assist.

APPLETON - Neenah’s Lydia Delene was a double winner, picking up first-place finishes in the shot put (33-2.5) and the discus (108-6).

Neenah also took first in the 400-meter relay (:52.04) and the 3,200-meter relay (10:26.10).

Rachel Dietrich of Neenah won the 1,600 (5:32.96) with teammate Jennifer Murphy winning the 3,200 (15:53.83). Annalise Zenzick won the 100 hurdles (:18.36).

Appleton North took the 800 relay (1:51.91) and the 1,600 relay (4:26.07). Ava Helmbrecht won the 800 (2:29.45).

Appleton North also won the high jump (Caroline VanderLoop, 4-8), the pole vault (Nora Waddell, 10-6), the long jump (Tarynne Pettinger, 16-0) and the triple jump (Ryan Guest, 33-10).

Olivia Rechner of Appleton East won the 200 (:27.28) and the 400 (1:01.31).

Oshkosh West’s Sydnee Nelson won the 100 (:13.02) and the 300-meter hurdles (:48.96).

In the girls meet, Kimberly won every event.

Individual winners were Kathryn Johnston (100-meter dash, :13.33), Miranda Winkler (100 hurdles, :15.68; 300 hurdles, :49.48), Samantha Harke (1,600, 5:31.01; 800, 2:31.71), Jillian Krueger (400, 1:01.29), Lilly Schaefer (200, :28.76), Gabby Allard (3,200, 12:05.40), Alaina Voss (high jump, 4-8), Ava Sitek (pole vault, 9-6), Haley Stannard (long jump, 15-6.75) and Sydney Woelfel (triple jump, 32-4).

Kimberly’s 3,200 relay team won with a time of 11:37.95. The 800 relay team took first with a time of 1:52.45. The 400 relay went to Kimberly with a time of :53.96. The 1,600 relay team won with a time of 4:20.93.

The boys meet went to Kimberly. First-place finishers were Kamin Cabana (triple jump, 42-5.75), Carter Howard (long jump, 19-11), Alex Reichenberger (pole vault, 14-0), Aidan Wilczek (3,200, 11:59.99), Jack Schreiber (200, :22.40), Logan Salzmann (800, 2:06.01), Ethan Criter (300 hurdles, :41.09; 110 hurdles, :15.09), Matt Leder (1,600, 4:39.66) and Jack Statz (100, :11.19).

Oshkosh North got first-place finishes from Quentin Fischer (high jump, 6-0), the 1,600 relay team (3:38.39), the 400 relay team (:45.00) and the 800 relay (1:34.79).

Little Chute won the girls meet with eight first-place finishes.

Kara Verstegen won the triple jump (30-8.5) for Little Chute. America Cackowski won the discus (95-6). Zuzanna Mosienska won the 300-meter hurdles (:54.29). Madison Job won the 3,200 (14:04.56). Sierra Hoffman won the 100 (:13.02). The Mustangs’ 1,600 relay team took first (4:30.76), as did the 800 relay team (1:54.30) and 400 relay team (:53.18).

Marinette’s Kylie Veriha won the long jump (14-1.75). Marinette’s 3,200 relay team finished first (11:44.34). Addison Lacy took first in the 1,600 (5:52.77) and Lauren Sadowski won the 800 (2:48.51).

Freedom’s Lauren Jochman won the pole vault (8-6), Isabella Stordahl won the high jump (5-0) and Brynn Woods won the 400 (1:12.76).

For Clintonville, Emily Taylor won the shot put (32-3), Lauren Zwirschitz won the 100 hurdles (:16.88) and Mckaylee Stephenson won the 200.

In the boys meet, Freedom got first-place finishes from Jack Bonnet (100, :11.55), Dawson Jarmolowicz (3,200, 11:21.96), the 1,600 relay (3:40.79), the 3.200 relay (9:35.81), John Lahay (discus, 139-7) and Cooper Cappaert (pole vault, 12-0).

Clintonville’s Trystan Krueger won the 200 (:23.36) and the 400 (:52.14). Sam Wegener won the high jump (6-0) and long jump (19-8.5).

Little Chute’s winners were Riley Huss (800, 2:02.01), Carlo Renner (110 hurdles, :17.00), Wyatt Kilgas (shot put, 46-8) and Hunter Thiel (triple jump, 41-4.5).

Little Chute’s 400 relay team took first (:45.91), as did its 800 relay team (1:39.20).

Oconto Falls got a first from Ben Adams in the 1,600 (4:42.32).

Marinette’s Logan Paris won the 300 hurdles (:42.98).

New London Quadrangular

NEW LONDON - In the girls meet, Xavier took first in the 400-meter relay (:56.72) and the 3,200-meter relay (10:16.82).

Individual winners for Xavier included Lauren Erickson (100, :13.15; 200, :27.11), Lillie Fouts (800, 2:25.83; 1,600, 5:22.25), Anna Bettag (3,200. 12:43.55), Kate Jannette (100 hurdles, :17.68), Grace Hackl (300 hurdles, :51.33) and Lola Hunt (pole vault, 8-6).

New London won the 800 relay (2:01.81) and the 1,600 relay (4:33.49).

Individual winners for New London included Macy Reybrock (400, 1:02.44; triple jump, 32-9.25), Jenna Handschke (high jump, 5-0) and Addison Marsh (discus, 100-3).

For Green Bay West, Adriana Moyano won the long jump (16-0) and Lanae Steele won the shot put (29-8).

In the boys meet, New London won the 400 relay (:48.05), the triple jump (Ian Oberstadt, 42-4) and the shot put (Jackson Pecher, 41-1.5)

Green Bay East won the 800 relay (1:38.90), the 400 (Keith Gibson, :55.58), the 3,200 (Huw Griffiths, 10:26.52), the high jump (Hayden Josephs, 6-0), the pole vault (Kayden Fenlon, 11-0) and the discus (Julio Perez, 107-9).

Sheboygan Falls’ first-place finishes came from Rachel Halverson (100 hurdles, :19.32; long jump, 15-7.25).

Roncalli got a first-place finish from Grace Mueller in the high jump (5-2).

In the boys meet, first-place Sheboygan Falls got first-place finishes from Carter Korff (100, :12.03), Logan Murphy (1,600, 4:29.57; 3,200, 9:27.07), Aiden Gierach (300 hurdles, :46.90), the 400 relay team (:47.52), the 800 relay team (1:33.27) and Emmitt Krauter (long jump, 19-7.25).

Brillion got winning performances from Dylan Schuman (200, :24.20), Jesse Alvarez (400, :55.08), Lucas Mathes (800, 2:09.44; triple jump, 39-3), the 1,600 relay team (3:47.30), Logan Schmidt (shot put, 43-7) and William VanderZanden (high jump, 6-0).

Kiel’s Kevin Zamora won the 110 hurdles (:18.45), the 3.200 relay team took first with a time of 9:32.01, Ryan Schad won the discus with a throw of 124-4, and Aiden Field won the pole vault at a height of 11-0.

Two Rivers won both the boys and girls meets with 10 and eight first-place finishes, respectively.

In the girls meet, Allyson Kakes won the 100 dash (:13.20) and the 300 hurdles (:50.28). Kylie Kakes won the 200 (:27.67) with Mikaela Helling taking the 400 (1:02.76).

Alex Zimney won both the shot put (34-11) and discus (113-8). Jasmine Lor won the pole vault (6-6).

Samantha Koehler won the long jump for Chilton (15-3) while teammate Brooklyn Durdahl took the triple jump (28-7.5). Alyida Wieting won the 3,200 (14:52.31).

Valders winners included Grace Neuenfeldt (high jump, 4-6), Avery Kauth (100, :17.15), Hannah Welch (1,600, 5:47.453) and Brooke Lau (800, 2:41.49).

In the relays, Chilton won the 400-meter relay (:54.75) and 1,600-meter relay (4:43.87), Two Rivers won the 800-meter relay (1:58.62) and Valders won the 3,200-meter relay (10:50.62).

In the boys meet, first-place finishes for Two Rivers came from Nathan Jackson (100, :11.49 and long jump, 20-2.5), Chase Matthias (200, :23.94), Brice Raddant (400, :56.81), Eli Gallagher (800, 2:15.50), the 400-meter relay team (:45.81), the 800-meter relay team (1:35.15), the 3,200-meter relay team (9:24.23), Christian Pyles (shot put, 50-3.5) and Zander Coupar (high jump, 5-2).

Valders had first-place finishes with Cole Hove (triple jump, 38-10.5), Xavier Kauth (110 hurdles, :17.89 and 300 hurdles, :46.14), Gunnar Romuald (1,600, 5:09.70) and Brayden Sable (3,200, 10:26.03).

Chilton had first-place finishes with the 1,600 relay team (4:11.35), Isaiah Ray (discus, 114-6.5) and Jack Lisowe (pole vault, 8-6).
