BASEBALL

Manitowoc 8, Kewaunee 7

KEWAUNEE - The Ships built an 8-3 lead and then withstood a four-run rally by Kewaunee in the sixth inning to hold on for the victory.

Noah Wech, Brock Peterson and Ashton Portmann each had two hits for Manitowoc. Portmann drove in two runs.

Payton Kohnle and Cal Ihlenfeldt both had two hits for Kewaunee, with Ihlenfeldt driving in two runs. Kohnle and Nathan VanGoethem both scored twice.

Bryce Erdmann got the win for Manitowoc.

VanGoethem took the loss for Kewaunee.

St. Mary Catholic 7, Reedsville 1

REEDSVILLE - The Zephyrs scored four times in the seventh inning to break open their game with the Panthers.

Noah Bublitz had a double, a home run, scored twice and drove in two runs for St. Mary Catholic. Matthew Betchner also drove in two runs.

Blake Delsman had two hits for Reedsville. Karson Schenian had a double.

Fisher Mackenzie pitched 6⅔ innings to get the win.

Schenian took the loss for Reedsville.

Chilton 10, Sheboygan Falls 0

CHILTON - Max Mueller pitched a one-hitter as the Tigers claimed their second consecutive conference championship.

Mueller struck out 11 and walked only one in the shutout.

Zac Halbach had two hits and four RBIs, Mueller had three hits, and Hunter Rolbiecki, Ryan Pierquet and Mitchell Schwobe also had two hits each. Schwobe hit a triple.

SOFTBALL

Two Rivers 1, Valders 0

TWO RIVERS - Mackenzie Graff hit a home run in the Raiders’ half of the second inning to lead Two Rivers to the win over the Vikings and a share of the Eastern Wisconsin Conference title.

Graff also had a double for Two Rivers.

Kailey Pyles pitched a complete game for Two Rivers, allowing no runs on four hits while striking out eight.

Taylor Hammel was 2-for-3 for Valders. She also took the loss for Valders, allowing one run on six hits.

De Pere 5, Manitowoc 4

DE PERE - The Redbirds scored four unearned runs in the seventh inning to defeat the Ships.

Olivia Baugnet had two hits and scored twice for De Pere. Juliana Bradford and Hallie Mleziva both drove in two runs.

Kailee Ansorge had two hits and scored twice for Manitowoc. Lizzy Stuebs had two hits, including a double.

Reese Falish got the win for De Pere, pitching a complete game. She gave up eight hits and struck out four.

Karenna Sorenson took the loss for Manitowoc. She pitched seven innings, gave up five hits and struck out two.

Brillion 15, Manitowoc Lutheran 4

MANITOWOC - The Lions broke a 1-1 tie with a rally in the fourth inning to defeat the Lancers.

Manitowoc Lutheran had 11 hits, including two each by Aubry Schleis, Jenna Lischka, Sam Siehr and Maddie Franz.

St. Mary Catholic 9, Elkhart Lake-Glenbeulah 3

FOX CROSSING - The Zephyrs scored four runs in the third inning and three in the fourth to take control Monday.

Allie Strande and Jaylyn Akey each had two hits for SMC (6-8 overall, 6-4 Big East). Nevaeh Saringer had two RBIs, Emily Vogel scored three runs, and Rhiannon Reichenbacher and Kenzie Hayes each scored two runs.

Saringer was the winning pitcher. She pitched a complete game, allowed eight hits, one earned run and struck out seven.

Lexi Miller, Abby Tegen, Alyssa Tegen and Kaitlyn Henschel each had two hits for the Resorters. Miller and Alyssa Tegen each hit a double.

GIRLS SOCCER

Sheboygan South 4, Ashwaubenon 0

ASHWAUBENON - Lily Luginbill scored two goals and both Rylee Brotz and Alayna Lloyd scored one for the Redwings in the win.

Brotz and Luginbill also each had assists.

Kiel 3, Kewaskum 3

KIEL - The Raiders trailed by two goals but came back to tie Kewaskum in a nonconference matchup.

Taylor Schad scored all three goals for Kiel.

Winnebago Lutheran 6, Valders 0

VALDERS - Mackenzie Rockow scored two goals and had an assist for the Vikings in the nonconference win.

Aaliegha Monroe, Ella Borgwardt, Ava Lorenz and Carley Lange also scored for WLA.

Leah Theisen, Lorenz and Olivia Schwefel also had assists.
