SOFTBALL

Notre Dame 14, Sheboygan North 3

SHEBOYGAN - Klarissa Peters went 3-for-4 with a triple, four runs scored and a pair of stolen bases for Notre Dame.

Kaia Waldrop added a 3-for-5 day at the plate with a home run, three runs scored and three RBIs.

Ella Gelb was 3-for-4, Megan Gelb 2-for-4 with two runs, Emma Ciak 2-for-4 with two RBIs and a triple, and Emma Jahner 2-for-5 with a pair of RBIs.

Emma Ciak earned the win for the Tritons, giving up eight hits, five walks and three runs, with four strikeouts.

Emma Wagner took the loss for Sheboygan North after seven innings pitched, giving up 19 hits, two walks, and 14 runs (12 earned) while striking out seven batters.

Bella Wagner went 2-for-4 with an RBI for the Golden Raiders, Jayden Jetzer also went 2-for-4, and Alaea Reiter was 1-for-4 with a double and an RBI.

Bay Port 7, Manitowoc 1

MANITOWOC - The Pirates moved to 4-1 on the year with the Fox River Classic Conference win.

Manitowoc was led by Ana Sanchez, who was 4-for-4 with three singles and a double.

Karenna Sorenson threw the complete game for the Ships, giving up six hits, striking out four and allowing two earned runs.

Kiel 10, Reedsville 2

REEDSVILLE - Pitcher Liz Neils gave up three hits, no earned runs and one walk while striking out eight as Kiel earned the nonconference victory.

Offensively for Kiel, Addi Karls, Neils and Emily Endries each went 2-for-4 with two RBIs apiece, while Emma Adleman added an RBI. Paige Wilkens and Karls also had two stolen bases.

Mishicot 21, St. Mary Catholic 6

MISHICOT - Mishicot scored twice in the first, 16 times in the second and three in the fourth to earn the Big East Conference win.

Cora Stodola had the hot bat, going 3-for-5 with a double and home run with five RBIs to power Mishicot. Also getting three hits was Kaelin Adair, while Cora Nelson, Kasey Brouchoud, Kiran Sanford, Emma Schmidt, Madalyn Tingerthal and Baylie Carrico had two each.

Stodola picked up the win on the mound, allowing five earned runs on eight hits with three strikeouts in three innings of work.

Leading St. Mary Catholic were Jaylyn Akey and Nevaeh Saringer with two hits apiece. Saringer also had three RBIs.

Elkhart Lake-Glenbeulah 1, Manitowoc Lutheran 0

MANITOWOC - Ava Conrad drove in the only run of the game in the fourth inning as Coryn Fromm tossed a three-hit shutout for the Resorters. Fromm walked three and struck out seven to earn the win.

Tristyn Dirks was 2-for-3 for Elkhart Lake-Glenbeulah.

Sam Siehr led the Lancers, going 2-for-3.

BASEBALL

Sheboygan Falls 11, Valders 1

VALDERS - Mason Schmahl pitched a complete game for Sheboygan Falls, giving up two hits and striking out eight batters.

Brody Buboltz led the Falcons’ offense with three hits and three RBIs.

Chilton 5, Two Rivers 0

CHILTON - Max Mueller pitched a complete game and struck out 11 without a walk to lead the Tigers to the victory.

Mueller scattered five hits in the shutout. He also had two hits, including a double, and two RBIs at the plate.

Chilton scored four runs in the second inning.

St. Mary Catholic 16, Mishicot 4

MISHICOT - The Zephyrs scored in every inning besides the first, plating one in the second, two each in the thirrd through fifth innings, three in the sixth and six in the seventh.

SMC collected 20 hits as a team.

Colin Nigl led the way with a 4-for-4 game, hitting a pair of doubles, drawing a walk, scoring twice and driving in four runs. Fisher MacKenzie also had four hits for the Zephyrs, with a double, three runs and an RBI in five at-bats. Owen Ripley and Joseph Pirillo each went 3-for-5 with three RBIs. Ripley doubled twice and scored three times and Pirillo doubled and scored once. Ray Pingel wrapped up the hits leaders for SMC with a 3-for-4 day, scoring two runs, swiping two bases and recording an RBI.

Ashton Ayotte had a double and two RBIs to lead Mishicot.

Ripley earned the win for the Zephyrs, pitching 5⅔ innings, giving up three hits, four walks and four runs (three earned) with 11 strikeouts.

Nolan Sand started for Mishicot, giving up nine hits and five runs while striking out eight batters in four innings.

GIRLS SOCCER

Kiel 4, Winnebago Lutheran 0

KIEL - Taylor Schad scored three goals and Lydia Vander Meer had one as the Raiders built a 3-0 halftime advantage and were never threatened in the nonconference game.

Abby Moore notched an assist for Kiel.

Lydia Bernhard had 20 saves for WLA.

Sheboygan Lutheran/Christian 12, Roncalli 0 (Monday)

MANITOWOC - Maria Zylstra scored four goals and Kate Zylstra scored three in the victory.

Taylor Batt added two goals, while Keeran Blattner, Lizzy Schmidt and Sofia Rodriguez scored one goal each.

Sheboygan Lutheran/Christian 4, Sevastopol 1 (Saturday)

SHEBOYGAN - Keeran Blattner scored two goals and had an assist for Lutheran/Christian in the victory.

Kate Zylstra and Maria Zylstra also scored. Taylor Batt had two assists.
