Here are Tuesday's high school sports results for the Appleton area

BOYS VOLLEYBALL

Kimberly 3, Neenah 1

KIMBERLY - The Papermakers outlasted the Rockets 25-22, 25-22, 25-27, 25-18 in Fox Valley Association action.

Kimberly was led by Kevin McGrath with 17 digs, Brady Koester with 12 kills and Aaron Nelson with 28 assists. Garret Biesterveld had eight kills for Kimberly, while Owen Krause and Kaden Grall both had seven kills. Grall also had seven digs and Michael Asman had six kills.

Leading the Rockets were Zac Fruendt with 11 kills, Miles Weaver with 10, Noah Harmon with 10 kills and nine blocks, Justin Sina with 40 assists and Luke Abing with 16 digs.

“We played with a lot of fight and energy,” Neenah coach Jake Coenen said. “I liked the way we attacked tonight’s match. Proud of how we played against the conference’s best in Kimberly.”

Kaukauna 3, Appleton East 0

KAUKAUNA - The Ghosts defeated the Patriots 25-15, 25-14, 25-17.

Mason Tienor and Zach Voet had 11 and seven kills, respectively, for Kaukauna. Jacob Acord had 24 assists. Jade Breckheimer added 11 digs, while Tienor had eight. Andrew VandeHey and Jack Van Epern both had six digs.

Appleton West 3, Fond du Lac 0

APPLETON - The Terrors defeated the Cardinals 25-21, 25-18, 25-15.

Liam Richards led Appleton West with 12 kills. Cooper Brown had five kills. Brenden Nesemann had 22 assists.

Appleton North 3, Notre Dame 0

APPLETON - The Lightning swept the Tritons 25-16, 25-16, 25-15 in a Fox Valley Association match.

Appleton North got five kills from Grant Hardy and Jadon Ciriacks, and four kills from Jack Keesling and Gavin Tate. Alex Ramus had a team-leading nine digs, and Tate had three service aces.

GIRLS VOLLEYBALL

Oshkosh West 3, Neenah 1

NEENAH - The Wildcats took a 21-25, 25-20, 25-20, 25-22 win over the Rockets.

Leading the Neenah offense were Marissa Corso with 12 kills and five digs, Makenna Baker with nine kills and three blocks, Claudia Merizon with five kills, 16 assists, four aces and eight digs, Jenna Lawatsch with three aces and 18 digs, Leia Kersten with 19 assists, Elizabeth Oldenburg with 11 digs, Haley Mayer with five kills, and Kenzie Ullrich with 16 digs.

“Oshkosh West did a great job of fighting for every point tonight,” Neenah coach Emily Bennett said.

Fond du Lac 3, Appleton West 1

FOND DU LAC - The Cardinals topped the Terrors 25-14, 25-21, 22-25, 25-11 in a Fox Valley Association match.

Leading the Terrors were Audrey Rosenbaum with 17 kills, Siena Busalacchi with four blocks and two aces, Claire Crawford with 20 assists and Neveah Hernandez with 18 digs.

Luxemburg-Casco 3, Fox Valley Lutheran 1

APPLETON - The Spartans stayed perfect in the North Eastern Conference at 3-0 and 16-5 overall with a 25-20, 23-25, 25-23, 25-20 triumph.

Luxemburg-Casco was led by Alayna Deprez with 46 assists and 10 digs, Autumn Flynn with 22 kills and five blocks, Campbell Onell with 15 kills and Brooke VandeHei with 28 digs.

“I loved the passion and energy we played with tonight,” Luxemburg-Casco coach Jeffrey Frey said. “To go on the road and play a team like FVL, Wendy (Bixby) does a great job with her program, and get a big win. We had some ladies step up big, but it was a total team win.”

Fox Valley Lutheran was led by Samantha Kempinger and Annalise Patchett with 12 and 11 kills, respectively. Ava Patchett has 22 assists. Emma Nilson had five blocks.

Appleton North 3, Kaukauna 0

KAUKAUNA - The Lightning swept the Ghosts 25-19, 25-12, 25-14 in a Fox Valley Association match Monday.

Ella Demetrician had 11 kills, four aces and 14 digs, Ella Brinkhoff had 13 digs, Maggie Hahnke had 20 assists and four digs, Ella Weber had nine assists and four digs, and Madeline Koshuta had six kills and six blocks for Appleton North.

Karissa Fortune added nine kills, Olivia Lasee had six kills and Teegan Charapata had four kills for North.

BOYS SOCCER

Kimberly 1, Neenah 1

NEENAH - Eli Rudolph scored in the first half for Kimberly and the Rockets scored in the second half in the Fox Valley Association draw.

Cooper Hoffman made seven saves in goal for Kimberly.

Kaukauna 1, Appleton North 0

KAUKAUNA - Robert Momberg scored in the first half for the game’s only goal as the Ghosts knocked off the Lightning.

Luxemburg-Casco 4, Freedom 3

FREEDOM - Mason Rivera scored in the 80th minute to lift the Spartans to the win over the Irish.

Luxemburg-Casco took a 3-0 lead on two goals by Zak Patek and one by Johan Amador before Freedom battled back.

The Irish got goals from Anthony Drontle, Brady VanderLinden and Sawyer Rueckl to tie the game.

Amador and Patek both had assists for Luxemburg-Casco.

VanderLinden had two assists for Freedom.

Fredman Colindres had six saves in goal for Luxemburg-Casco. Eric Wolf had four saves for Freedom.
