APPLETON - The Hawks defeated the Foxes 25-13, 25-14, 25-16 in a nonconference battle of state-ranked teams.

Xavier was led by Marian Potter with 31 assists, Belle Shea with 16 digs and Halle Vande Hey with 12 kills. Potter also had 10 digs, while Annika Kowalski and Madison Daley each had eight kills. Olivia Neumann added six kills.

Fox Valley Lutheran was led by Annaliese Patchett with five kills. Savanna Carron had 10 assists. Kennedy Schmitz had 15 digs.

Freedom 3, Oconto Falls 2

FREEDOM - The Irish defeated the Panthers 25-14, 27-29, 26-24, 23-25, 15-8.

Rachel Koss led Freedom with 44 assists. Sydney Bartels had a team-high 17 kills, while Kierstin Kriewaldt had 12. Elayna Christensen had 21 digs. Bartels and Halle Srb had 13 digs each.

St. Mary Catholic 3, Reedsville 0

FOX CROSSING - The Zephyrs got 12 kills and four aces from Eliana Brenn as they posted a 25-16, 25-12, 25-20 win.

Also leading SMC were Lauren Fischer with 11 kills and seven digs, Olivia Noel with 14 assists and Stella Virlee with 10 assists.

Leading the way for the Panthers were Kaydence Larson with five kills, three assists and four digs, Kara Kiekhaefer with four kills, and Mercedes Grimm with three assists and three blocks.

BOYS VOLLEYBALL

Neenah 3, Kaukauna 1

NEENAH - The Rockets defeated the Ghosts 15-25, 27-25, 25-21, 25-23 in a Fox Valley Association match.

“After the first set, they didn’t let it get to their heads,” Neenah coach Jake Coenen said. “We came back out aggressive and built momentum from there. Kaukauna is a great team, so we had to go out and earn every point tonight.”

Noah Harmon led Neenah with 16 kills. Chip Calcaterra and Miles Weaver both added eight kills. Luke Abing had 20 digs, while Justin Sina had 37 assists.

Kaukauna was led by Mason Tienor with 18 kills. Zach Voet and Andrew Vande Hey had 12 and eight, respectively. Jacob Acord had 34 assists. Jade Breckheimer had 14 digs, while Acord and Jack Van Epern had six digs each.

Appleton North 3, Fond du Lac 1

APPLETON - The Lightning downed the Cardinals 25-16, 25-17, 25-22 in a Fox Valley Association match.

Leading the North attack were Bennett Kornaus with nine kills, Grant Hardy seven kills, Alex Ramus 16 digs, Jack Keesling seven kills, Nathan Ramus five kills, Gavin Tate five kills and Cole Debruin 26 assists.

Kimberly 1, Appleton West 0

APPLETON - Brennan Paradiso served a ball from a corner kick which deflected off the leg of Alex Helbing to account for the Papermakers’ goal in the win over the Terrors.

Cooper Hoffman had two saves for Kimberly.

Kimberly outshot Appleton West 13-2.

Shawano 5, Xavier 1

SHAWANO - Shawano got four goals and one assist from Julian Perez in the win over Xavier.

Drake Herm had one goal and one assist for Shawano.

Brandon Reed had eight saves in goal for Shawano.
