Notre Dame 91, Manitowoc 25

MANITOWOC - Kaia Waldrop scored 18 points to lead five Tritons playes in double figures in their win over the Ships.

With the win, the Tritons clinched the Fox River Classic Conference title when combined with Sheboygan North’s loss to Green Bay Southwest.

Gracie Grzesk and Syd Whitehouse both scored 16 points for Notre Dame. Trista Fayta accounted for 15 points while Peyton Musial added 13.

Manitowoc was led by Taylor Peterson with seven.

Addison Pytleski led Green Bay Southwest with 22 points. Taliah DeGroot added 10 points.

KOHLER - Chloe Vogel poured in 22 points and Emily Vogel added 12 as the Zephyrs jumped out to a 38-20 halftime advantage and never looked back en route to the Big East Conference crossover victory.

Also scoring in double digits for the Zephyrs was Sienna Anderson with 10 points.

McKenna Holzrichter led the Blue Bombers with 17 points, while Katie Schumacher added 10.

BRILLION - The Lions outscored the Vikings by 11 points in the second half to pull away for the win.

“We played with better energy on defense in the second half and got some steals that led to some transition baskets,” Brillion coach Jeff Capelle said. “We were more efficient and converted both inside and outside on offense in the second half and were well balanced.”

Megan Schuman and Alaina Schwahn both scored 14 points to lead Brillion. Schuman scored all of her points in the second half.

Claire Zipperer led Valders with 30 points.

GREEN BAY - The Ships made a scorching 63% of their field goal attempts in the win over the Tritons.

Manitowoc made 23-of-36 shots while Notre Dame made 20-of-44.

Manitowoc also outscored Notre Dame at the free throw line 16-8.

Brayden Kennedy led Manitowoc with 22 points. Brock Peterson and Bryce Erdmann added 12 and 10 points, respectively.

Emmett Lawton had 26 points for Notre Dame. Andrew Rader contributed 15 points.

Green Bay Preble, which was led in scoring by Thomas Michels’ 19 points, had a big advantage at the free throw line where it outscored Sheboygan South 17-5.

Sheldon Jean Baptiste, Ty Gerard and Anthony Cortes Buenrostro added 13, 11 and 10 points, respectively.

Zach Groh led Sheboygan South with 12 points. Davis Glavan and Dominick Adamavich both scored 11 points while Matt Leonhard added 10.

FOX CROSSING - The Zephyrs doubled up the Blue Bombers in the first half, pouring on 61 points, and coasted the rest of the way to improve to 18-2 overall.

Cole Uhlenbrauck scored a game-high 36 points for SMC, including 25 in the first half. Danny Griffith added 13 points, Michael Fairweather tacked on 12, Fisher MacKenzie had 11, and Charlie Nackers rounded out the scoring leaders for the Zephyrs with 10 points.

Trey Keller led Kohler with 24 points and Max Breitenbach followed with 16 for the Blue Bombers.
