WAUSAU - Gracie Krings made six 3-pointers and finished with 24 points to lead the Eagles over the Cardinals.

Aliah Hamus and Josie Ertl added 12 and 10 points, respectively.

Newman Catholic was led by Maggie Wulf with 13 points and Lily Zeimetz with 12.

RHINELANDER - The Lumberjacks outscored the Hodags 15-11 in overtime to escape with a win.

Gabe Napgezek and Noah Stroming paced Wausau East with 17 points each. Dylan Buchberger added 16 points for the Lumberjacks.

“It was our best effort of the season so far. We had contributions from lots of guys, and it was a nice team win against a really good Rhinelander team on the road in a tough place to play,” Wausau East coach Dan Garrett said. “Gabe Napgezek really stood out tonight, especially on the offensive glass and 14 total rebounds. He had his best all-around game of the season. We were able to battle adversity all night and come out with a really good win. I’m very proud of my guys.”

STEVENS POINT - The Cardinals got an even-strength goal from Mason Zielinski with Max Voss getting the assist at 2:48 of overtime to defeat the Hatchets.

After a scoreless first period, Pacelli got two second-period goals from Zielinski along with goals by Sawyer Olds and Balin Wojtalewicz to lead 4-3.

Tomahawk tied the game at 7:10 of the period on a goal by Austin Lamer.

Zielinski had two assists for Pacelli, while Voss, Olds and Jacob Hasler each had one.

Carter Herheim had 43 saves for Pacelli. Andrew Samundsen had 20 saves for Tomahawk.
