APPLETON - The Patriots stayed with the Ghosts for a half before being outscored by 16 the rest of the way in a Fox Valley Association matchup.

Alana Zarneke poured in a game-high 30 points for Kaukauna, while Alexa Kinas added 23. Also scoring in double figures for the Ghosts was Josie Djupstrom with 11.

Sammi Beyer had the hot hand for East with 18 points, while Lilly Meulemans added 17, Torie Neubauer 14 and Addie Wreath 12.

Roncalli was led by Lauren Stangel, who scored 16 points. McKenzie Staudinger added 10.

APPLETON - The Foxes outscored the Vikings 9-8 in overtime for the nonconference win Monday.

Alayna Feidt led Fox Valley Lutheran with 19 points and 14 rebounds. Lauren Riesop added 12 points, while Laura Movrich and Emily Jaenke each scored 10 points.

Jaenke made a layup at the buzzer in regulation to tie the game at 55-55 and send it to overtime.

Grace Meier made a 3-pointer in overtime while Jaenke and Riesop each went 2-for-2 at the free throw line in the extra period.

Lindsey Nell scored 25 points to lead WLA, including all eight of the Vikings’ points in overtime. Kiara Shea added 10 points and seven steals, while Abby Cole had nine points and 12 rebounds.

KAUKAUNA - The Patriots defeated the Galloping Ghosts to improve to 4-2 overall and 2-1 in the FVA.

East was led in scoring by Joey La Chapell and Caleb Glaser with 25 points apiece. Cade Prestigiacomo and Elliot Feldhausen each added 13 points.

Jon O’Neill led Kaukauna (3-1, 2-1 FVA) with 20 points and Finnley Doriot made three 3-pointers, finishing with 15 points. Andrew Jensen added 12 points and Keegan Van Kauwenberg also hit three 3-pointers on his way to 11 for the Ghosts.

E.J. Holt scored 20 points to lead Appleton West. Mikail Harmison and Ezra Brown both added 11 points.

Also scoring in double figures for the Storm were Payton Kohnle and Thomas Stangel, both with 10 points.

Dawson Schmidt scored a game-high 31 points, while Bennett Wilcox added 14 and Jacob Klitzke 11 for Shiocton.

APPLETON - James Murphy scored two goals in the first period to lead the Cardinals past the United.

Tysen Craig assisted on Murphy’s first goal.

Appleton’s goal was scored by Dane Heindel with Ben Tomassetti and Connor Cooke getting assists.

Spencer Shober had 29 saves in goal for Fond du Lac. Brandon Tobak had 34 saves for Appleton United.

Marquette 10, Waupaca 3

BROOKFIELD - The Comets closed to within two goals twice against the Hilltoppers in the second period but Marquette proved to be too potent offensively.

Waupaca’s goals were scored by Sawyer Bohm, Cory Ellenich and Zach Gusmer. Elliot Bartel, Ellenich and Warren Carlson each had assists.

Carson Jameson had 24 saves for Waupaca.

Marquette got three goals and three assists from Justin Siclovan. Mack Langermann had 12 saves for Marquette.
