STEVENS POINT - Lauren Strasman scored 22 points and Emma Jossie added 18 to lead the Panthers to the season-opening nonconference win.

“It is great to have Lauren back this season from the knee injury, She was a force inside,” SPASH coach Kraig Terpstra said. “We passed well tonight. We will need to rebound and defend better as the season progresses.”

City Figlinski led the Terrors with 21 points. Olivia Peterson added 12 points and Jazelle Gowdy had 11 points.

BONDUEL - The Zephyrs rallied from a five-point halftime deficit, outscoring Bonduel 31-12 in the second half for the double-digit nonconference win.

Chloe Vogel and Emily Vogel each scored 15 points for St. Mary Catholic, while Audrey Norville chipped in 13.

The Bears were led by Ella Hischke with 15 points and Kendra Troxel with 11.

MOSINEE - Shelby Glodowski had the hot hand with 20 points and Lizzie Steingraber added 12 as the Bulldogs built a nine-point halftime lead and held on from there.

Both teams struggled at the free throw line as New London hit just 11 of 23, while Mosinee made 11 of 19.

Mosinee was paced by Hallie Kramer’s 12 points, while Britt Fitzgerald added 11 and Taelyn Jirschele had 10.

Ella Wiese led Pulaski with 16 points.

Addison Pytleski, who scored 23 points in the second half, scored a game-high 31 points for Green Bay Southwest. Margie Stevens added 15 points.

Menasha was led by Nevaeh Quinn and Mara Rieder with 16 points each.
