Oshkosh North 56, Appleton North 55

OSHKOSH - Xzavion Mitchell scored 15 points to lead the Spartans past the Lightning.

Steven Clark and Quintin Fisher each added 12 points for Oshkosh North.

Mayville 71, North Fond du Lac 46

NORTH FOND DU LAC - The Cardinals defeated the Orioles to earn their second win in the Flyway and improve to 3-0 overall.

Adison Mittelstadt led Mayville with 21 points and Brad Bushke added 17.

Abe Maurer made four 3-pointers, finishing with 13 points to lead North Fond du Lac.

CAMPBELLSPORT - The Cougars defeated the Lions to stay undefeated at 5-0 overall and 2-0 in the Flyway.

Mitchell McCarty scored 25 points to lead Campbellsport.

Logan Menzer sank three 3-pointers to lead Lomira with nine points.

Wayland Academy 78, Lourdes Academy 68 (Monday)

BEAVER DAM - Wayland used a 16-0 scoring run in the second half to overcome a nine-point deficit and rally for the victory.

Ugur Can scored 17 points for Wayland.

Lourdes got 17 points each from JJ McKellips, Calvin Tollard and Mitchell Wing.

GIRLS BASKETBALL

Central Wisconsin Christian 59, Wayland Academy 54

BEAVER DAM - Emma Hoffman scored 13 second-half points and Taylor Hoffman connected on three 3-pointers late as Central Wisconsin Christian overcame a 10-point deficit in the final minutes to post the Trailways Conference win.

Emma Hoffman finished with 18 points, while Taylor Hoffman had 12.

Montse Murillo scored 18 points and Lucia McGuinness had 13 to pace Wayland.

Fox Valley Lutheran 64, Winnebago Lutheran 63 (Monday)

APPLETON - The Foxes outscored the Vikings 9-8 in overtime for the nonconference win Monday.

Alayna Feidt led Fox Valley Lutheran with 19 points and 14 rebounds. Lauren Riesop added 12 points, while Laura Movrich and Emily Jaenke each scored 10 points.

Jaenke made a layup at the buzzer in regulation to tie the game at 55-55 and send it to overtime.

Grace Meier made a 3-pointer in overtime while Jaenke and Riesop each went 2-for-2 at the free throw line in the extra period.

Lindsey Nell scored 25 points to lead WLA, including all eight of the Vikings’ points in overtime. Kiara Shea added 10 points and seven steals, while Abby Cole had nine points and 12 rebounds.

BOYS HOCKEY

Fond du Lac 2, Appleton United 1

APPLETON - James Murphy scored two goals in the first period to lead the Cardinals past the United.

Tysen Craig assisted on Murphy’s first goal.

Appleton’s goal was scored by Dane Heindel with Ben Tomassetti and Connor Cooke getting assists.

Spencer Shober had 29 saves in goal for Fond du Lac. Brandon Tobak had 34 saves for Appleton United.

St. Mary’s Springs 10, Sheboygan 2

FOND DU LAC - The Ledgers scored four times in the first period and four goals in the third period in the win over the Red Raiders.

Austin Westergaard led St. Mary’s Springs with four goals. Armani Fisher, Tate Baker and Gabe Braun each scored twice. Talan Blanck had four assists, while Isaac Sabel and Jonathan Korb both had three assists.

Otis Berge and Zander Cucinello scored Sheboygan’s goals. Eric Zimmerman and Noah Fibiger had assists.

Memphis Young had 15 saves for St. Mary’s Springs. Zane Vande Hey had 37 saves for Sheboygan.
