PORTSMOUTH - Sophomores Margaret Montplaisir and Maddie MacCannell both had 15 points as the Portsmouth High School girls basketball team beat Windham, 65-28 on Tuesday in a Division I game at Stone Gymnasium.

It was the 10th straight win for the Clippers, who are now 11-1 on the season. Windham is now 7-5.

Sophomore Avery Romps added 11 points for the Clippers, who allowed just eight second-half points.

Bella Slover scored six points for the Clippers, while Sydney Pettis and Delaney Cote both had five. Bree Amari led Windham with eight points.

EXETER – Junior Emma Smith led Exeter with 16 points, three steals and three assists in this Division I loss.

Junior Rachel Ludwig added 11 points for the Blue Hawks, while junior Hailey Harrington had nine points and senior Erin McIlroy had five points and 10 rebounds.

Saint Dominic Academy 39

KITTERY, Maine – Emme Hale’s 22 points led the Rangers to this Class C South win. Traip improved to 7-4, while Saint Dominic is 2-5.

Emily Sweeney added nine points for the Rangers, while Molly Sawtelle had seven.

BOYS BASKETBALL

Pinkerton 67

Winnacunnet 57

DERRY – Junior Cole Nicholas hit six 3-pointers and scored a team-high 18 points for Winnacunnet (4-7) in this Division I loss.

Pinkerton improved to 10-1.

“Proud of our effort,” Winnacunnet head coach Jay McKenna said.

Senior Joe Allen had 10 points for the Warriors, while junior Henry Bybee connected on three 3-pointers in the fourth and finished with nine points.

Jackson Marshall and Anthony Chinn both had 20 points for Pinkerton.

WINDHAM - Taylor Hodgdon scored a team-high 13 points and the Clippers saw their eight-game Division I win streak snapped.

Matthew Minckler added 11 points for Portsmouth (8-3), while Jack Radcliffe had seven.

KITTERY, Maine - Omar Dovesi led Traip Academy with 10 points in this Class C South loss.

Taylor Varney led Saint Dominic with 14 points.

DOVER - Bradley Wentworth and Caden Fontaine each scored a goal for the Knighthawks in this Class A South loss at Dover Ice Arena.

Marshwood goalie Ben Ott had 27 saves. The Knighthawks are now 3-6 on the season.

GIRLS HOCKEY

DOVER – Kira Jakobs scored the game-winning goal with 5:06 left in overtime of this Division I contest at Dover Ice Arena.

Maggie Farwell added two goals for Oyster River/Portsmouth, while Kate Deans and Natalie Lessard also scored.

Amelie Cowieson earned the win in net.
