Tulare Western presents 'SpongeBob SquarePants The Musical'

Tulare Western High School’s drama department welcomes community members to its latest performance based on one of Nickelodeon's most beloved shows.

Students will perform SpongeBob SquarePants The Musical, featuring music written by John Legend, Aerosmith, The Plain White T's, Panic! At the Disco, Cyndi Lauper, and more.

“We follow SpongeBob as he navigates the trials of friendship, perseverance, and self-doubt as he tries to save the undersea world of Bikini Bottom,” Tulare Western drama teacher Jana Petersdorf said. “A really fun show for kids and adults with phenomenal music.”

Those interested in seeing the play can do so this week at 7 p.m., Thursday through Saturday, or at 2 p.m. on Saturday at the Tulare Community Auditorium.

Tickets are $14 for adults and $12 for students. Matinee prices are $6 for middle school students and $10 for high school students. Tickets can be purchased at the door and online at https://www.onthestage.tickets/show/tulare-western-curtain-call-player/
