Four students from Tuloso-Midway High School have been invited to participate in an exclusive Esports Madden Event hosted by the 8 to 80 Zones foundation created by San Francisco 49ers greats Steve Young and Jerry Rice.

The school's competitive RexGames Esports Madden Team, comprised of students Dallas Rivas, Romeo Hanson, Jose Alonzo, Jr. and Stephen Sims was invited to the event in Long Beach, California in early February.

The event will include current and former NFL players as well as top professional Esports gamers.

Coach Stephanie Ochoa said the team was invited in part because of admirable conduct during a tournament that was noticed by league organizers and Madden developers.

The event is scheduled for Feb. 5.
