Former Texas Tech offensive line coach Steve Farmer has been hired to the same position at Tulsa, the school announced Saturday.

Farmer was one of the several assistant coaches who came with Matt Wells from Utah State to Tech before the 2019 season. His hometown of Coweta, Oklahoma, is 26 miles from Tulsa.

Former Texas Tech star Jakeem Grant was named to the second team of The Associated Press NFL All-Pro team released Friday as the punt returner.

Grant, who was traded from the Miami Dolphins to the Chicago Bears on Oct. 5, averaged 13.9 yards on 26 punt returns. That included a 97-yard return for a touchdown, the longest in Bears' history, against Green Bay.

A national panel of 50 sports media members selected the All-Pro team. The Baltimore Ravens' Devin Duvernay received 28 votes as the punt-return specialist and Grant got 20 votes.
