Tulsa Race Massacre centennial: Walkway honoring victims dedicated in downtown Tulsa
A 10-foot-wide path named “The Pathway to Hope” will serve as a symbolic bridge connecting Black Wall Street to the John Hope Franklin Reconciliation Park. This year marks 100 years since the 1921 race massacre in Tulsa occurred where an estimated 300 people were killed and over 1,000 homes were burned to the ground, according to Human Rights Watch.
