Turnpike Lane shooting: Boy, 17, in life-threatening condition after being shot outside tube station
A teenage boy is in a life-threatening condition in hospital after he was shot outside a north London tube station on Wednesday night.
The as-yet-unidentified 17-year-old was attacked in Green Lane, near to the entrance of Turnpike Lane station, at 11.13pm.
He is now fighting for his life in hospital while specialist gun officers investigate the circumstances of the incident.

This comes after an 18 year old man was left in a life threatening condition after he was shot in the #MaidaVale, W9 area of Westminster on Tuesday night.

Footage from the scene showed police vehicles lining the street as the roads surrounding the area were taped off.
No arrests have been made.
The Metropolitan Police said in a statement: “We were called to Green Lanes, N15 at 23:13hrs to a report of a teenager shot.

“A 17-year-old boy was taken to hospital with a gunshot wound, he is in a life-threatening condition.
“Officers from Trident are investigating. No arrests.”
A Section 60, giving officers the right to search anyone in the vicinity, was implemented overnight until 6am this morning.
