Turns Out Michelle Obama's Abs Are Just As Ripped As Her Famous Arms

You’ve known for years that Michelle Obama has some seriously ripped arms (total #goals, amirite?). Well, the former First Lady just shared a photo of herself working out on Instagram and revealed that her biceps have some competition in the jacked department.

In the pic, Michelle's holding a medicine ball above her head while doing a lunge and her fierce abs are peeking out between her sports bra and leggings. "It doesn’t always feel good in the moment. But after the fact, I’m always glad I hit the gym. How did you all take care of yourself on this #SelfCareSunday?" she captioned the post.

Apparently, a few of Michelle's fans noticed her incredible abs. "Ok Michelle Abs, we see you!" wrote model Ashley Graham. "Oh wow," another follower said.

Michelle has always been big on fitness, but according to TMZ, she’s been spotted at SoulCycle classes in Washington, D.C., here and there. Michelle has been doing SoulCycle for a while now. She even shared on Twitter in 2015 that she regularly does it with her daughters. "I love it when my girls join me for a little SoulCycle. We all are in the dark, moving to the beat on the bikes. We love it," she said.

Michelle is also super consistent with her sweat sessions. Her trainer, Cornell McClellan, told NPR that she doesn’t skip workouts at all. "One of the things that I noticed from [the Obamas] and from herself initially is that this was something that was important and that she prioritized and found a way to fit it in," he said. "And I remember that when I was working with her all those many years ago, you know, she would be in the gym sometimes at 4:30, 5 o'clock in the morning."

Apparently Michelle eats pretty normal-healthy, too. According to People, she packs her own lunches. Her go-to midday meal? Turkey chili. She’s also big on getting her veggies: Politico says she’s a "careful eater" who orders vegetables at every meal.

Clearly, all that hard work is working for her!
