In "Sister Act," singer Deloris Van Cartier witnesses a murder by her gangster boyfriend, and goes via witness protection program into a Philadelphia convent. Her flamboyant personality causes friction among the community of more self-restrained nuns, but she finds her place helping transform the convent's struggling choir. The group's rising notoriety makes it much harder for the police to protect Deloris. Performances will be 7:30 p.m. July 20-22, with 2 p.m. matinees July 22-23.
