Jun. 9—The new 10-episode live-action series The Loud House will start production this month in Albuquerque, the New Mexico Film Office reported.

The series is set to air on Paramount+ later this year.

The series derives from the animated show of the same name, which has aired on Nickelodeon Network since 2016. A live-action made-for-TV The Loud House Christmas premiered on TV and Paramount+ on Nov. 26.

Cast members from the Christmas show will reprise their roles in the TV series produced by Nickelodeon Studios.

The production will employ about 125 New Mexico crew members, 20 New Mexico principal actors and about 400 New Mexico background actors, the film office reported.

"I am super excited to bring this large and loud production to Albuquerque," Jonathan Judge, director and executive producer of the series, said in a news release. "I've really enjoyed meeting local crew and collaborators and I'm looking forward to the journey of bringing this series to life."
