All the TV shows renewed or canceled in 2021
Broadcast networks got a bump in viewership during the pandemic — what else was there to do but watch TV? — but the next challenge is recalibrating how much of that was real and, more importantly, will stick around for next year.
Some veteran shows like “Brooklyn Nine-Nine,” “Mom” and “Supernatural” are already gone or on their way out, while freshman hits like “The Equalizer” and “Mr. Mayor” have already scored a second season.
