Your TV and streaming guide to the 2020 ACC Tournament

Living in the age of ESPN’s ACC Network means that for the first time, we won’t get to watch any ACC Tournament games on “regular” TV.

As with most regular season games, the 2020 tournament games (taking place in Greensboro, NC March 10-14) air on the relatively new ACC Network (a collaboration between the ACC and ESPN) and on ESPN and ESPN2.

The down side of that is that you need a subscription to a cable, satellite or streaming service to watch any of the games (more on that below). The up side is no one has to worry about missing their favorite soaps or primetime NBC shows due to games. You give some, you get some.

We have the TV schedule below, but keep scrolling for info on which streaming services have the game and where to find the ACCN and ESPN channels on cable and satellite.

You can also watch games on your ESPN mobile app.

How to find ACC Network and ESPN on cable or satellite

Cable

ESPN and the ACC Network are available on Triangle area cable carriers Spectrum (a Charter company), Google Fiber TV, AT&T U-Verse and Verizon Fios. There is no deal for ACC Network with Comcast Xfinity (which lists its NC coverage areas as Yanceyville, Providence and Pelham), but the service does have other ESPN channels.

▪ On Spectrum, you’ll find The ACC Network on channel 388. It’s part of the Spectrum TV Select package, so you don’t have to purchase a special sports package. NOTE: If you are a Time Warner Cable “legacy” customer, you will not have the ACC Network. You can call Spectrum to check on switching over to a Spectrum plan. Read more about this Spectrum/Time Warner situation here. ESPN is on channels 31 and 300, and ESPN2 is on 32 and 301.

▪ On Google Fiber TV, you’ll find ACCN on channel 221. A special sports package is not required. Note: Google Fiber isn’t available in all neighborhoods. ESPN is on channel 210 and ESPN2 on 214.

▪ On AT&T U-verse, you’ll find the ACC Network on channels 610 and 1610. ESPN is on channel 602 and ESPN2 on channel 606.

On Verizon Fios, you’ll find ACCN on channel 329SD or 829HD. ESPN is on 570 and ESPN2 on 574.
